The only thing that I don’t love about Cape Verde? This fantasic flourescent-lit cyber cafe that is playing Europe’s worst club beats as the owner pulses to the tunes at the terminal next to me. He keeps looking over to see if I am impressed. Guess what? He is not going back to my hotel room tonight. Try harder my friend….

So that’s my long-winded way of giving you some hold music until I get somewhere that doesn’t invoke the flight response. The view up above, taken yesterday on Mount Verde, was far superior to what I’m dealing with right now. I guarantee that the next posting will have far greater aesthetic appeal, because I am almost certain that this establishment is the least interesting location on this island.
